Trevor Baylis OBE
After Dinner Speaker
For Inspirational and Motivational Speeches and Sheer Entertainment
When you think of Trevor Baylis, you think Innovation. Most famous for the creation of the 'Clockwork Radio', Trevor has built a career based on innovation and invention. He was born in 1937. During his early years he worked as a stunt man, escapologist, Physical Education Instructor in the Army, and proprietor of his own swimming pools company. It successfully sold pools of his own design to over 350 schools in the UK - many of which are still in use. During this time he also invented a range of aids for the disabled called Orange Aids.
Inspired by a television programme on AIDS in Africa he invented the CLockwork Radio, and 1997 was awarded an OBE for his services to Africa. Always concerned about the neglect of inventors, he set up Trevor Baylis Brands plc (www.trevorbaylisbrands.com) to help Inventors get their products to market. He is in demand as a public speaker inspiring others to 'think outside the square'. He shares his amazing experiences and inspires with his devotion to finding new solutions and trying new ideas. Audiences who have enjoyed his performances range from Universities to Professional Corporations.
