The products below are just some of the ideas that we are currently working on. Currently there are over 40 more ideas out with manufacturers for evaluation or under commercial negotiation. Our spin-off companies are either developing new products or raising funds to take ideas into production. Despite all the hard work it can take a long time to get ideas into the market. We receive a wide variety of ideas from people of all ages and backgrounds. Some inventors approach us at the very first stage, having only a simple sketch and a rough idea about how their invention might work. Other people already have prototypes and patents in place. We can help both! To see our top ten tips for Inventors click here

Trevor Baylis OBE
set up our company to help inventors,
and this continues to be our core business principal. Whilst we are successful in finding routes-to-market for inventions that we consider to be both protectable and commercially viable, remember:
It is important to find out if your invention can be protected with a patent or other form of intellectual property at the earliest time, before spending large amounts of money on expensive prototypes and marketing. After all, it wouldn’t make much sense to finance and manage the development of an unprotectable idea which a rival company could subsequently copy, make and sell at their own freewill.
Our professional services for inventors are designed to give you an understanding about whether your invention has been done before and if it has already been protected by someone else. The majority of ideas that are submitted to us have been done before and as a result we encourage many inventors to move onto their next 'big idea'.
We receive regular feedback from inventors who use our service and find themselves in this position:
Just a quick thank you to yourself and colleagues who spent time on my idea. Obviously a little disappointed re: the outcome but still smiling. I have another in the pipeline so fingers x'd....be in touch soon. A big thank you to Trevor Baylis for this wonderful organisation that helps so many people in so many ways. S.W. (United Kingdom)
Thank you for returning my idea-prototype and for your explanation that my idea may not be commercially viable. I would like to wish all TBB inventors good luck. I hope to contact you soon with a new idea. Sincerely, J.L. (United Kingdom)
Please convey my heartfelt thanks to Trevor for the certificate. It's the first plaudit that I have ever received in sixty years of inventing. I was granted one patent in 1946 and I have been posting applications about once a year ever since. I look upon it as a therapy for old age! I have a house full of my inventions to boot! G.D. (United Kingdom)
Thank you for today's letter informing me that my idea for ********* is not novel. It was a bit of a long shot and the result is hardly surprising, so I am not particularly disappointed. I note that the most significant conflict was with an ***** patent, so I am in worthy company! Your service is tremendous value and since my work throws up interesting ideas once or twice a month, I am sure I'll be back. Keep turning the handle. Best regards, J.N. (United Kingdom)
Many thanks for all your help and enclosed information. I must admit to being proud for being one of very few who have had a similar idea, uniquely similar in most cases. It's a pity it has never been applied. I'm enormously grateful for your assitance in this matter and would fully endorse the service offered for the fee involved. Money well spent and although not destined to become rich and famous I am as mentioned before, happy that what I thought was an optimistic idea has support from others. Once again sincere thanks for you and the team and Trevor for establishing TBB. Yours faithfully, P.G. (United Kingdom)
Thank you very much indeed for your informative letter concerning my idea for the (*******). I am of course disappointed that there appears to be so much competition and that no operator wishes to take up the concepts. Please accept my thanks and compliments for the hard and detailed work that went into this project and pass these on to whomever was involved and also to Mr Baylis for setting up the organisation in the first place. J.B. (United Kingdom)

"I can only say good things about TBB. From when I first contacted the team I have had a great experience. I think anyone in my shoes who enjoys inventing, can for a reasonable fee have searches done and have practical and constructive comments given on their ideas.TBB will certainly give you value for money.
With their help I have saved loads of time both from endless searching and sifting through information, and also from not wasting time on ideas that were basically going nowhere. The whole experience from sorting out the protection of the Block and Brick Cutter, answering any questions, and directing me through the commercial agreements, I found a bit nerve racking, probably because of the fact that I was having to put my trust in people I didn't know. I have long since got over this and now look forward to what is hopefully a long and lucrative relationship.
I believe that if it's at all possible, TBB will find a route to market for a product, and also, do what ever is necessary to protect it. I think it's brilliant to have a team of people such as TBB there so that when I do have a worthwhile invention, I know that it will be handled in the appropriate manner. I have more ideas that I hope to work on in the future in conjunction with TBB."

"Having the knowledge and on-hand facility of an experienced Patent Attorney was invaluable in the early stages of the development, as we could check any alterations to ensure that infringements did not take place.
The initial searches and evaluation for my idea was at a very low cost. The decision to involve TBB as a shareholder in the business was made easy by the efficient methods of administration and company setup. It ranks as one of my best decisions made in 25 years as a business owner/inventor/entrepreneur.
TBB has a comprehensive understanding of what is a good product. The level of commitment is unquestionably high and extremely refreshing in today’s grab it and run business ethics. If this service was priced on a standard consultancy basis it would have cost my company an absolute fortune!"
